Sand, pines and sea air

Around Pärnu Bay the soil is sandy and the pine forest is close. Sand drains well, but it can shift, so build a proper base with compacted gravel under the slabs, level in both directions.

The sea air is gentle, but the spruce still needs a yearly coat of outdoor treatment. Leave the vents open after each session so the cabin dries out.

Quiet autumn evenings
