Barrel sauna kit delivered to Kuressaare

Island life

Saaremaa is Estonia's largest island, with windmills, juniper meadows and a long coast. Life here is slow and many houses have a sauna of their own.

A barrel sauna adds a place to relax with a sea breeze in the air.

Spa town and farmsteads

Kuressaare is known as a spa town, with a castle and a wooded park. Around it are farmsteads and holiday houses with big, flat plots. A 3 m barrel fits comfortably, and a glass back wall can face the open sky.

Use a firm slab base on compacted gravel.

Delivery and assembly in Kuressaare

The kit is shipped on one pallet by lorry with a tail-lift, with the ferry crossing included in the route. Production takes 4 to 6 weeks, and delivery to the island may take a little longer than a week. Please contact us so we can plan the crossing. Two adults assemble in about two days, or our crew does it from 1 490 €.

Prices include 24% Estonian VAT.

Ferry timing and planning

Because the island is reached by ferry, schedule your delivery with some flexibility, particularly in the summer holiday season when ferries are busy and in winter when storms can delay crossings. We will keep you informed once the carrier confirms a date.

Many properties on Saaremaa are farmsteads or holiday homes with large yards, so lorry access is rarely a problem. Send us a photo of the road to the gate.

Island building suppliers are often limited, so keep slabs, gravel and tools ready before delivery day. Two adults can assemble the sauna in about two days, and our crew is available from 1 490 € if you prefer.

Choose a wood-fired stove for island evenings; it feels right in a place where wood is plentiful.

Permission

Ask Saaremaa parish government about garden buildings, especially near the coast.
